Itinerario
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN FEZ
Arrival in Fez Our guide will be waiting for you at the agreed time at the airport, we will transfer you to the Riad, located in the historic part of Fez, depending on the time of arrival we will have the possibility to visit the Medina of Fez. Dinner in Riad where you will have the first contact with Moroccan gastronomy.
DAY 2: FEZ
The day repairs us an immense tour of Fez, one of the Imperial cities of the country, we will pick you up after breakfast and begin the guided tour of its Medina, as we enter its streets we will feel that we will go back in time and a constant tingling of people moving through its labyrinths and narrow streets, in which we will be surprised by magnificent Mosques, Koranic schools or its neighborhoods, among others, the Andalusian neighborhood or the Jewish neighborhood. Once the visit is over, you will enjoy your free time, where you can enjoy a Hamman, of a tea or simply continue enjoying FEZ.
DAY 3: FEZ- IFRANE - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA DESERT
After a copious Moroccan breakfast we will head towards the desert through the Middle Atlas where it will lead us to the first stop, Ifrane, the so-called Moroccan Switzerland, is really a surprising city whose architecture is totally different from the rest of the Moroccan cities, its houses of sloping roofs, wide avenues, parks cared for to the maximum detail. We will continue until we reach the cedar forest, one of the largest in the world where the monkeys that inhabit the place will welcome us. We will continue the route passing through one of the lakes that surround the area, until arriving at lunchtime where we will taste a typical Moroccan dish, later we will cross the Ziz Valley, we will see countless typical villages in the area until we reach Erfoud, where the landscape is already changing, finally we will arrive in Merzouga ,in which we will ride on a cloud of dunes on the back of a dromedary, to contemplate a great photographic setting, the sunset. Then we will arrive at our camp where we will spend the night like a true nomad, in haimas, once we have finished dinner, we will be envaucared by Berber songs between drums and a sea of stars that will leave us breathless. Dinner and overnight in haimas.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA
Today the day will be of total desert, after getting up early to see the sunrise where we will look for the highest dune to have a better photographic image. Once in the camp they will delight us with a copious breakfast, then we will return to Merzouga, and once there we will change to the dromedary by the 4x4 to be able to surround the great dune and enjoy what characterizes it, more than 250 meters of altitude, we will connect on the track with what was the Paris Dakar route and at the limit of the mountains of Algeria, we will stop at the oasis from Tissardmine until we reach a nomadic settlement where we will have tea while you tell us about their lives, their customs and what they live. Before lunch we will visit Khamlia, a village native to Mali, where we will attend a small concert of Gnawa music where the atmosphere They are positive that everyone joins in and is part of the dance. Return to the hotel in the afternoon free to walk around the town, read a book in the silence of the desert, enjoy the beautiful sunsets, walk through the town and if you want action, the Quads await us to release adrenaline among the dunes of the desert. DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT -RISSANI - TODRA GORGES - DADÉS VALLEY
Today we will have an appointment with the sunrise, since it is the last day of the desert, we cannot say goodbye without seeing a great sunrise, so we will look for the highest dune that surrounds the camp and we will see that sunrise that will leave us perplexed without being able to blink Enjoying the silence that surrounds the desert, we will return to the camp and after breakfast we will return to the hands of the dromedary or if you prefer in a 4×4 to Merzouga. We will leave for Rissani, where we will visit its market, one of the most traditional in the country, taking into account market days (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) once the walk is over, we will set off to Erfoud, where we will have the opportunity to visit a fossilized marble factory, we will continue towards the HIGH ATLAS, until we see the Todra Gorges, an important rock canyon carved by the Todra river, world famous by climbing fans in the heart of the country, where we will walk on foot, then we will have lunch In the afternoon we will leave until we reach the Dadés Valley, a place full of magic, steep Gorges famous for its steep and colorful walls with a narrow road with panoramic views. Dinner and overnight in Riyadh.
DAY 6: DADÉS VALLEY - OUARZAZATE - KASBAH OF AIT BEN HADDOU - HIGH ATLAS - MARRAKECH
After a hearty breakfast, we will set off leaving behind this rock formation that extends creating gorges, folds, limestone ect. We will enter a landscape that is dotted with marvelous kasbahs, today, much of it in ruins, but without a doubt we get the idea of the splendor they once had, we will make several stops to see the landscape, the Valley of Roses and El Skoura's great palm grove, we will arrive at Ouarzazate whose name comes from a phrase in Berber that means "without noise, we will visit the kasbah De Taourirt, we will visit the country's film studios called Atlas Studios, where renowned international productions work. Following the route we will arrive at a town fortified whose name receives the same as its kasbah De Ben Haddou scene of multiple films, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1986. Once we have had lunch we will go to Marrakech where we will change the silence transmitted by these landscapes and their colors for the the hubbub of the Jemaa el-Fna square where they will come to see the sunset from one of its rooftops while enjoying a delicious tea. Dinner and overnight in Riyadh.
DAY 7: MARRAKECH
After breakfast we will begin our guided tour of Marrakech, one of the 4 imperial cities of Morocco. Famous for having numerous monuments recognized as World Heritage, and its well-known Jemaa el Fna square. You can tour its different and characteristic neighborhoods, the modern city: Guéliz, Hivernage, Palmeraie, Mellah (the Jewish quarter)... or let yourself be carried away through the winding streets of the Medina, to the Jmaa el Fna square, the scene of endless of outdoor activities jugglers, musicians, fakirs, snake charmers, jugglers... that will awaken all your senses, with its many sounds, aromas, flavors and colors that characterize it. DAY 8: MARRAKECH - AIRPORT
After breakfast, depending on the time of our flight, we will be able to do one last tour to say goodbye to the essence of Marrakech, a city that will have captivated us. Agreed time to transfer them to the airport where we will see them at the boarding gate.
